A Family Quarrel, Beer Theft, Hotel Party

At 11:26 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person on the 26700 block of Portola Parkway. According to the report, the informant saw a man looking into various cars in the Ralphs parking lot and trying to open the car doors.

At 9:28 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunken driver near the Trabuco Road and Bake Parkway intersection. The informant reportedly saw a red pickup truck swerving all over the road and suspected the driver was intoxicated. 

At 3:41 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 21-year-old man on the 21100 block of Canada Road. The subject's mother wanted him arrested because, according to the report, he is a known drug addict who had broken into her home and refused to leave when asked. He was taken into custody. There was no posted bail amount.

At 5:39 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported petty theft on the 22300 block of El Toro Road. According to the report, five men stole beer from a Circle K and took off running down Trabuco Road.

At 11:55 p.m. Saturday, police assisted firefighters on the 19200 block of Sleeping Oak Drive. According to the report, paramedics assisted a man’s 21-year-old daughter who was acting hysterically as a result of an anxiety attack and refused to take her medication.

At 9:47 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a loud party in progress on the 23100 block of Lake Center Drive. According to the report, police released a minor to their parent after finding the partiers in possession of lighters, marijuana, painkillers and a knife. According to the report, the party appeared to be in a hotel room at the Irvine Suites.

At 2:11 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported suspicious activity in a vehicle near the El Rond Lane and Crescent Road intersection. According to the report, two people were possibly having sex in a parked car next to a restroom at Mountain View Park.

At 5:44 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the intersection of Trabuco Road and El Toro Road. According to the report, a man was walking with his 4-year-old-son near a bank office when a transient man tried to grab the child and made threatening comments.

At 4:02 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to do a patrol check near the Lake Forest Drive and Serrano Road intersection. The informant reported that a group of minors on West Lake Forest was throwing rocks at passing cars.
