Sheriff's Blotter: Cop Calls

A selection of calls from Lake Forest to the county Sheriff's Department from Sept. 6-9.

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

Abandoned vehicle. 11:53 a.m. Friday. 21600 block of Audubon Way.

Municipal code violations. 9:08 a.m. Friday. 25100 block of Serrano Road

Robbery alarm—silent. 11:17 p.m. Thursday. 0 block of Orchard.

Burglary report. 9:50 p.m. Thursday. 24900 block of Muirlands Boulevard.

Traffic stop. 3:08 a.m. Thursday. Bake Parkway and Dimension Drive. A 30-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Welfare check. 11:01 p.m. Wednesday. 22800 block of Gretta Street. Deputies performing a welfare check arrested a 29-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $10,000 bail.

Traffic accident—non-injury. 3:52 p.m. Wednesday. 20500 block of Regency Lane.  A 38-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at Orange County Jail. He was released when he posted bail.

Weapons violation. 6:04 p.m. Tuesday. Rockfield Boulevard and Lake Forest Drive. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a weapons violation and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was released under his own recognizance.

Traffic stop. 5:26 p.m. Tuesday. Rockfield Boulevard and Lake Forest Drive. A 23-year-old woman was arreasted during a traffic stop and taken into custody at Orange County Jail. She was released when she posted bail.
