At Least 7 Candidates to Run for City Council

With seven candidates already in the running, the period to file nomination papers to run for City Council has been extended because one incumbent opted not to run.

At least seven candidates will vie for two open seats on the Lake Forest City Council Nov. 6, and there is still a chance that more names could be added to the ballot.

The period to file nomination papers with the city clerk has been extended to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 15) because incumbent

The seven candidates in the running are:

  • Incumbent Marcia Rudolph
  • Terry Anderson
  • Ken Carrell
  • Jim Gardner
  • Adam Nick
  • Dwight Robinson
  • Kathy Zechmeister

Each of the seven candidates has been verified by the Registrar of Voters and has qualified for the ballot.
