Lake Forest, AARP, Offer Free Tax Help
Seniors who qualify can get an appointment at Lake Forest City Hall for tax assistance starting in February.
Beginning next month, seniors can get free assistance with filing tax returns each Monday through Tax Day at .
Middle and low-income taxpayers who have hit the half-century mark are eligible for the program, thanks to a partnership between AARP and the city of Lake Forest.
Starting Feb. 6, appointments for those at least 50 years of age are available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Monday , Suite 100 at 25550 Commercentre Drive.

Appointments are available on Feb. 6, Feb. 13, Feb. 27, March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26, April 2 and April 9.
According to AARP, the Tax-Aide program has assisted more than 34 million taxpayers with filing returns.
