Planners Pick New Pair to Lead in 2012

The Lake Forest Planning Commission amiably switched to a new chair and vice chair for 2012.

Deciding who should lead a political entity can be an acrimonious process, but on Thursday the city's Planning Commission quickly and amiably settled on a new chair and vice chair.

Commissioner Jerry Verplancke, who served as vice chair in 2011, got the nod to lead the commission, which monitors land use and development in the city. Accompanying him as vice chair for 2012 is Commissioner Terry Anderson.
