The second annual Shop and Dine Lake Forest Week was successful at engaging and promoting local businesses, staffers told the City Council on Tuesday.
With more than 220 business participating and 20 of those sponsoring in some way, the yearly program again drew residents to spend their tax dollars locally, said Jessica Gonzales, Lake Forest economic development manager.
