Date Set For Annual 'Meet the Mayor'

The event includes an overview of Lake Forest's economic climate.

A date is set for residents to hobnob with  and hear her take on the city's business climate.

From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 14 at the , at 23702 Rockfield Blvd., the mayor will mingle with constituents.

Attendees will get a "rundown on the activities the city is involved in with related to business and an update on the economic climate,"  President . "At the same time we will be giving an update on the chamber itself, what its progress has been and what our future plans are."

At the event, McCullough, , will give a "State of the City" address, common in many municipalities at the beginning of a new year.

The "Meet the Mayor" event is hosted annually by the  as part of the partnership between the city and the nonprofit organization that supports local businesses. The chamber bills the gathering as its "signature event."
