Logo Contest Underway For 4th of July Parade

The winning design will be featured at Lake Forest's annual parade celebrating the nation's independence.

What comes to mind when you hear "Hometown USA"?

That phrase is the theme for this year's 4th of July Parade in Lake Forest, and a contest is under way to select the best logo to represent it.

Residents are invited to submit "creative and patriotic" designs to the city by Feb. 6.

The winning logo will be featured on all the 4th of July Parade advertising, and its designer will be recognized as a VIP at the parade.

Submit a design by sending a high-resolution jpeg file to rrivera@lakeforestca.gov by the 5 p.m. deadline on Feb. 6.
