Last Week To Get Snowfest Wristbands

Passes to sled at Pittsford Park are available this week at Lake Forest City Hall.

Some tickets are still available for the city of Lake Forest's annual winter community celebration this Saturday at Pittsford Park.

Prospective sledders can purchase one of the 220 remaining wristbands to Snowfest this week at , Suite 100 at 25550 Commercentre Drive.

From 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday, a grassy slope at  will be covered with man-made snow and open for sledding.

Snow bunnies can pick up Snowfest passes at City Hall for $5 (cash only) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

Each sledder must have a pre-purchased wristband for one of the day's three snow sessions. The sessions are from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Tickets for the first two sledding sessions sold out last week. There are 220 wristbands left, all for the third and final sledding session. 

Only 500 wristbands are sold for each session. The event is .

In addition to the sledding slope at Snowfest, other attractions, such as a bounce house and a kids play area, will be available. The park is at 21701 Pittsford Drive. If the event gets rained out, it will take place Feb. 4.
