State Exposes Lake Forest Tax Delinquent
The Franchise Tax Board says Kurt Dunteman of Lake Forest owes $171,000 in state income tax.
Just in time for tax day, the state has issued a list of the 500 people who owe the most in state income tax.
Kurt Dunteman of Lake Forest made the list. Dunteman owes the state $171,442.24, according to the Franchise Tax Board.
A lien was filed on Dunteman on Oct. 9, 2009.

Dunteman is at the bottom of the list, which tops out with a debt of more than $10 million owed by a San Francisco couple.
Last year the legislature gave the FTB more power and required them to publish more tax delinquents twice a year. The boards new powers include the ability to request that other states help collect California's income tax debts.

The board can now release the professions and professional license numbers of tax delinquents, too.
