Video: Herzog Tees Off on Developers

Watch the longtime councilman explain what transpired in the bid for developers to get residential housing approved in the Foothill Auto Centre.

It's not the most fiery moment from the meeting Tuesday of the Lake Forest City Council, but check out what councilman Peter Herzog has to say regarding the actions colleagues Scott Voigts, Dwight Robinson and Adam Nick took, and the actions taken by developers; together they circumvented normal procedure when it comes to major projects in the city.

Among the sound bytes is Herzog describing the developers' unwillingness to pay for a study that's usually required by the city but willingness to funnel money into a campaign that he calls "a twisted piece of logic."

Also, "the biggest amount (of money) was laundered so you never know who did it," and "if you want to play dirty politics, go somewhere else."

It's a few snippets from one of Herzog's diatribes.
