Save Lake Forest Gets Ready for Labor Day Weekend

Welcome to Save Lake Forest blog on The Patch. We are a group of more than 50 Lake Forest citizens who are objecting to the City Council decision to allow two developers to build 240+ new homes in the Auto Center Drive area of Foothill Ranch. We have organized to gather signatures for a REFERENDUM which will force the City to either dis-allow the Developer Agreement or to place the topic on the ballot so all the citizens can vote.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Gather Signatures – more than anything else, we need signatures. If you can walk your neighborhood and collect 45 signatures (or more) that would be terrific. E-mail MaryAltoff@msn.com and she will send you a packet so you can get started.

Labor Day Celebration – You’re probably going to spend some time Sept 2 at a Labor Day Celebration and this is a great time to circulate the petition. So get in touch soon so you can be ready to take advantage of this event.

Tabling – we need people to sit at WalMart in Foothill Ranch  on Saturdays and Sundays so that people can sign up. Each person only has to put in a 2 hour stint. E-mail MaryAltoff@msn.com and she will get in touch and see where and when you can help.

Facebook - Please go to FACEBOOK and support our page SAVE LAKE FOREST. In addition to The Patch, this will be our primary way of keeping people up to date. BTW - when we post an article on The Patch, you can upload it to your own Facebook page and let your friends know what’s going on. Take a moment now to do it with this article.

Your ideas – if you have other ideas of ways to help, please post them here on The Patch, or if you prefer, e-mail DrJGardner@gmail.com
