Basketball 'Bull-tique' Tips Off Friday

More than 120 vendors are signed up to sell their wares at the El Toro High School fundraiser, which supports the school's boys basketball team.

As the holiday shopping season gets underway, gift seekers can avoid the mall crush and support local teen athletes at a two-day shopping event that begins Friday at .

More than 120 vendors are lined up for the annual Holiday "Bull-tique," the longest-running annual fundraiser for the school's boys basketball team.

The smorgasbord of vendors, selling everything from jewelry to homemade jam, are the fundraiser's main draw, which has an $1 entrance fee.

For hungry shoppers, a bake sale, snack bar and barbecue are also lined up for the event. In addition, a small pumpkin patch supplied by Tanaka Farms will be at the Bull-tique.

Shopping begins 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, the Bull-tique continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the event is $1. Parking is free.
