UC Irvine Extension Certificate Awards Ceremony

The Certificate Awards Ceremony honoring the class of 2012 arrives as the University of California, Irvine Extension celebrates 50 years of continuing education and providing graduates with the needed skills to increase earning power, prepare for a job promotion or make a career transition.

Approximately 1,900 students earned their certificate during academic year 2011-2012.

More than 700 attendees comprising of certificate graduates and their guests are expected to attend.

At the ceremony, UC Irvine Extension will also celebrate its 50th anniversary with an exclusive, advanced preview of a short documentary, which is being produced to mark the occasion. The full documentary will premiere this fall.

Keynote address will be delivered by Michael Gottfriedson, executive vice chancellor and provost of University of California, Irvine.
