Bicycle Rodeo

The Lake Forest Police Department is pleased to announce a Bicycle Rodeo will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Oakwood Parking Lot, located at the northwest corner of Deerpath and Oakwood (next to City Hall). participants may come anytime between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

This event is made up of a series of bicycle station, each dealing with an important aspect of safe bicycling. Kids will have their bikes inspected and will then learn about skills that will increase their enjoyment of cicycling. Other activities are planned as well. The Bicycle Rodeo is FREE and is open to kids of all ages. Participants must bring their own bicycles and helmets.

After completing all the stations, each participant will receive a certificate and FREE raffle ticket. There will be raffle drawings throughout the event for various bicycle accessories. At the end of the event there will be a drawing for a FREE BICYCLE (winner need not be present to win).
