Prep All-Star Basketball Games Set for Saturday

Number of local seniors on boys rosters for Orange County Basketball Games, which include four games beginning at noon at Concordia University in Irvine.

Nine boys basketball players from the area have been selected to play in the Orange County All-Star Basketball Games on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Concordia University in Irvine.

The South boys roster includes Capistrano Valley's Taylor Hamasaki, Corona del Mar's Marcus Bradley, El Toro's Ryan Hardy, Mission Viejo's Isaac Neilson and James Cramer, San Juan Hills' Will Acromite, Tesoro's Dusty Baker and Trabuco Hills' Kyle Wilson. The team will be coached by Aliso Niguel's Keith Barnett.

Los Alamitos' Henry Igboke will play for the North squad, which will be coached by Valencia's Dean Yoshimura.

Preceding the boys game at Concordia will be a small schools game at noon, a NJB All-Stars game at 2 p.m. and the senior girls game at 5 p.m. Admission is $10.

The South boys roster for the Small Schools game includes St. Margaret's Mitch Marmelstein and Mike Jones, Saddleback Valley Christian's Josh Markum and Michael Hamada, Sage Hill's Mark Loper and Capistrano Valley Christian's David Orgi. The team will be coached by St. Margaret's Billy Assaf and Keith Stowers.
