Southern Section Announces All-CIF Girls Water Polo Selections

Junior water polo player Candyce Schroeder of  CIF Southern Section Division 2 champion San Clemente was named the Division 2 girls player of the year and her coach, Logan Powell, in his first season at the helm of the Tritons, was named the division's coach of the year by the Southern California Water Polo Coaches' Assn. as the All-CIF girls water polo teams were announced Monday.

In all, 15 players (in italics) from nine Orange County high schools served by Patch earned All-CIF Southern Section honors.
