Doolittle, a sixth-season Idol finalist, performed a range of songs. Some were her own; others, tunes by pop stars including Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Her performance inspired some concertgoers to dance in front of the stage as she sang.
A Long Beach resident, 19-year-old Krysta Fryer, said she appreciated the atmosphere at the concert as well as the music.
"It's a nice neighborhood," Fryer said of the area surrounding Pittsford. "It's very relaxed."
Lake Forest newcomer Michelle Thomas, 43, recalled attending a summer concert in town before moving to the area.
"I love the [Lake Forest] community," she said during the concert. "I think it's really beautiful here."
Thomas said she plans to attend other concerts held in town this summer as well.
As Grannis and Doolittle performed, families took breaks from watching the musicians to do arts and crafts and sample ice cream and snacks.
