Lake Forest on July Fourth: Cloudy Morning, Mid-70s

Participants in Lake Forest's annual  as well as parade-goers will appreciate the July 4th forecast, which predicts moderate temperatures for the holiday.

Clouds should linger until mid-morning, when National Weather Service meterologists predict the skies will clear.

Fourth of July temperatures will peak near 75 degrees, according to the Weather Service.

In the afternoon, a light southwest wind of 5 to 10 mph will breeze through town.

As the sun goes down, temperatures will drop to a low of about 58 degrees and some cloud cover will return.

For those planning to extend their July 4th holiday, Thursday's weather in Lake Forest will look about the same. Beginning Friday, however, temperatures will trend upward, hitting the mid-80s at the day's peak and staying there throughout the weekend.
