Summer Sizzle: Lake Forest Heats Up Into the 90s

Meteorologists predict the hot temperatures will drop a few degrees during the weekend.

Though the excessive heat warning in place in parts of Southern California has not yet encompassed Orange County, Lake Forest is heating up, recording temperatures in the 90s Wednesday.

Thursday's forecast calls for a high temperature of 97 degrees.

“Strong high pressure centered over Utah will continue to produce hot weather over interior parts of Southern California the next few days,” according to the National Weather Service.
