Lake Forest Volunteer Honored at Girl Scouts Luncheon

Barb Christianson is recognized for her volunteer work with the Girl Scouts of Orange County.

A Lake Forest resident earned the highest award that can be presented to an adult in Girl Scouting at a June 3 appreciation luncheon hosted by the service organization.

Barb Christianson was presented with the Girl Scout Thanks II Badge by the Girl Scouts of Orange County. The award recognizes continued outstanding service.  

Christianson has been a Girl Scout adult for nearly 20 years.

During that time, she’s volunteered in several capacities, holding most of her positions for many years.

Though her efforts, Christianson has significantly impacted her troop, service unit, association and the Council, according to the organization.
