For some shoppers and sellers, the 34th annual street fair in the Sunwood tract in Lake Forest was a yearly tradition. Others joined in the garage sale extravaganza——for the first time.
From a full-sized flag pole ($125) to retro earrings ($3), anything and everything was for sale. Hundreds of homes covered their driveways and lawns with old clothes, books and other unwanted items.
The first deal-seekers turned up shortly after sunrise Saturday raring to go, while Sunday was a more laid-back affair.
