A Lake Forest thrift store that raises money for victims of domestic violence is marking summer's conclusion with a daylong open house.
, at 23635 El Toro Rd., invites visitors to the store on Thursday starting at 10 a.m. to shop the store and .
In the evening, from 5 to 7 p.m., the store will host a reception featuring music, raffles and refreshments.
The store is one of the drop-off point for Laura's House annual back-to-school drive, which collects school items for needy families involved with the nonprofit.

The store accepts donations of items to sell in the store Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
