Wahoo's Fish Taco began in 1988, when the three Wahoo Brothers brought together their love to surf and taste for foodMore and created a Mexican/Brazilian/Asian menu with a Hawaiian North Shore vibe. The brothers' idea came about while surfing the beaches of Mexico and feasting on fish tacos. This was the beginning of their own unique creation of the fish taco they introduced to California, and have been serving customers in over 50 Wahoo locations. Inside is a casual, beachy atmosphere and walls are filled with surf decor and logos. A favorite entree is the "Maui Bowl", teriyaki marinated steak, served over steamed seasoned white or brown rice. Indoor and outdoor dining are available.

Classes include gi and no-gi varieties of jiu jitsu, along with mixed martial arts and kids' programs for ages 4 to 12. Classes are held on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Mayor Peter Herzog was first elected to the Lake Forest City Council in 1994; he has been a resident here sinceMore 1982. He won the mayorship in 1998, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011. He was instrumental in preventing the El Toro Marine Base from becoming an airport and ensuring that the Musick jail site has not become a maximum-security jail. Mayor Herzog has also served on the Board of the Foothill-Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency and was chairman of the League of Cities Super-Committee for the renewal of Measure M, which passed in 2006. In May 1996, the Mayors of Orange County selected Mayor Herzog to serve on the Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission.
