"This is a dream come true," owner Scott Sellman, a former mortgage-industry professional now turned restauranteur, told the crowd before cutting the red ribbon at around 11:15 a.m. "We're gonna have a lot of good times out here."

Animal rescue groups with adoptable dogs were on hand, including Coastal German Shephard Rescue, Barks of Love and Lifeline Animal Rescue. Sellman plans to have the groups return on a regular basis and display their dogs in the patio out back.
