Gourmet Food Trucks Headed to Lake Forest Today
Six traveling trucks are visiting Forest Lanes today at dinnertime.
There is a good reason that food trucks have not been setting up at as they have on past Tuesdays since early 2011.
The team behind vegan food truck Seabirds, which organizes the event at the bowling hot spot, had its hands full competing on the second season of Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race.
Tonight, gourmet food trucks are rolling back into town for the second time since the hiatus.

According to Forest Lanes owner Charlie Kinstler, about 100 people showed up last week. He expects more than that to come tonight, however.
Prior to the break, the Tuesday night dinner extravaganza drew hundreds, Kinstler said.
