Free Legal Advice at Saddleback Church Saturday

Church members with legal experience are volunteering their time to provide free advice.

Get free legal advice Saturday during a four-hour event in the parking lot at Saddleback Church's main campus in Lake Forest.

From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the public is invited to speak with Saddleback members who are state-licensed attorneys during Parking Lot Justice, the first event of its kind at the church.

Attorneys will meet one-on-one to answer questions related to adoption, bankruptcy, civil litigation, business and corporate law, criminal law, elder protection law, immigration, insurance law and more.

(PEACE stands for: Plant churches that promote reconciliation. Equip servant leaders. Assist the poor. Care for the sick. Educate the new generation.)

Parking Lot Justice is being hosted by the Justice & Trafficking Initiative at Saddleback.

The ministry, which encompasses about 200 church members, is one of hundreds at the church that volunteers its services to help others. JTI focuses on global issues, such as human trafficking.

A second Parking Lot Justice event is already planned for December.
