Families gathered Friday for the city's , featuring the jolly man himself.

But before Santa Claus made his appearance, children ate pancakes with their families, made holiday crafts and talked with the various elves in attendence.

Mrs. Claus also made an appearance, handing out cookies to be decorated with frosting.
