Photos: Classes Begin in Lake Forest-Area Schools

The 2013-14 school year in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District began Tuesday morning in Lake Forest and Foothill Ranch. That meant crossing guards, directions, new backpacks and the occasional stuffed animal for security. 

Patch hit La Madera Elementary (with occasional El Toro High traffic) and Olivewood Elementary to catch kids—and parents—arriving (some of them later than others) at school or waiting for class to start.
