Lake Forest Chamber Wraps Up Summer With 'Hawaiian' Mixer

On Wednesday evening, Outback Steakhouse in Foothill Ranch hosted a Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce mixer.

About 70 people attended a Hawaiian-themed mixer hosted by the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce at Outback Steakhouse in Foothill Ranch Wednesday evening.

The Wednesday evening event marked the end of the summer season for the chamber, which hosted another , also in Foothill Ranch.

Attendees dined on food from the restaurant and were entertained by live music by the Rick Lancaster Duo.

Members of the City Council and city commissions attended the chamber-sponsored mixer. The organization, which promotes local businesses, has a close relationship with Lake Forest's municipal government, which financially supports the relatively young chamber.

Mayor Peter Herzog spoke at the mixer, noting the mutually-beneficial nature of the partnership.

The event evoked the last days of summer with tiki torches and leis, which were handed out to guests as they arrived.
