The Great Escape: Green Earth Coffee

Here's one place where you can get away, if only for a few minutes.

If you ask the typical mother of a toddler what she likes to do during her “me” time, she will probably laugh and ask “what ‘me’ time?” The truth is, being the mother of a young child often means moments to one’s self are few and far between. For we mothers of little ones, an escape can simply mean not having to be a source of entertainment for an hour or two.

This week's escape comes in the form of a great cup of coffee and a comfortable spot to enjoy it. in Foothill Ranch, offers specialty espresso drinks, iced delights, organic teas and Italian sodas, as well as sandwiches, in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.  This is not your typical grab-and-go coffee joint.  Patrons are encouraged to linger.  There is even a section of the shop dedicated to entertaining young children with toys and books.

Imagine grabbing a chair next to the play area, casually flipping through a magazine and sipping slowly on your chai latte while your little one blissfully plays with toys that aren’t hers for an hour or two. Heaven!
