Who’s Hiring in Lake Forest: Oakley, Verizon and Saddleback Church

If you’re a natural salesman or have a calling in ministry, you’re in luck this week.

Looking for work or know someone who is? Here’s a handful of Lake Forest job listings:

  • Sunglass company Oakley is hiring an administrative assistant to help oversee health and safety operations at its facility in Foothill Ranch. The part-time job is a contract position, and candidates who speak Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Verizon Wireless is planning to expand the staff at its retail store located off El Toro Road in Lake Forest. The cellphone service provider is accepting applications for fulltime sales representatives, and any experience working on commission is a plus.

You can view more local job listings on Lake Forest Patch’s jobs page—and if you’re in the market to hire, you can always list vacancies there for free.

BTW - One of the biggest companies hiring is The City of Lake Forest. Go to
http://www.lakeforestca.gov/services/businesses/proposals.asp to see the latest RFPs and if you go to the City agenda you'll find even more prospects. Here's the link to that. http://www.lakeforestca.gov/services/agendas/current_agendas2.asp Right now they have several contracts coming up for bid. And these involve between $30,000 and $380,000. The City also has jobs at the City. Here's the link to that - http://agency.governmentjobs.com/lakeforest/default.cfm I wish the City did a better job informing us of just how much $ they can spend and where they can spend it. But if you do some digging around their website you'll be able to see the opportunities.

I believe it is time we had representation that understands what it means to serve. Because, afterRead More all, isn't a House Member's job to serve the people of his/her district? And who understands service better than a former Marine Corps Colonel? I briefly met Colonel Raths yesterday and it is my belief that he is doing this for all the right reasons and will provide what has been missing in Congress for far too long---INTEGRITY, HONESTY, PATRIOTISM, SELFLESSNESS & SERVICE. And if I heard correctly, yesterday, he has already hired the best possible company, a company with an extremely innovative and intelligent leader, to run his campaign. This company will serve him well and when the facts come about about Greg Raths, the people of the 45th District will have the easiest choice at the polls in quite some time. This is the man who will do the right thing for his district 10 times out of 10. Go Greg! When you find out the amazingly wonderful things he has done for his country, there really is no choice. Colonel Greg Raths USMC Retired for Congress, 2014.
