None of the other applicants came in the top 3 in any of the other categories.


(Note: Because I am an applicant and also the author of this series it's been a little awkward so I have tried to stick to the data and offer as little editorial comment as possible. Normally I would be more animated in my discussions of the issue.)

Jim: Nice summarization. As I've commented in earlier blogs, the 'dirty dozen' has four or five clearly leading the pack!

I hope the interviews and appointment next Tuesday will run smoothly. It would be embarrassing for the city if one council person dug their heels in just because their pick didn't make it. After reading all the posted information I feel there are at least five candidates that could fill that seat until Nov 2014, so a compromise is a reality.
