Alert: Rescue Dog Cuto Is Missing

Cuto ran away from Freedom Village, the Lake Forest retirement community on El Toro Road, at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Cuto, a tan Chinese shar-pei mix rescue, is missing after he got spooked and ran off during a late night walk at Freedom Village, the Lake Forest retirement community where he is being fostered.

Cuto is about 45 pounds, 2.5 years old and friendly, though shy.

The dog went missing about 12:30 a.m. on El Toro Road; since then, there has been one possible sighting miles away, in the area of Lake Forest Drive and Trabuco Road, about 10 a.m.
