Rain Expected to Take a Hiatus

Things should clear up in OC, though not too quickly, and not for too long.

The rainy weather that hit Orange County this morning will probably take a hike until the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's the forecast:

On Wednesday, expect a partly cloudy afternoon, with highs from 55 to 61, and wind gusts up to 25 mph in coastal areas and inland South County. Wednesday night should remain partly cloudy, but the winds should die down a bit; low temperatures should range from 39 to 45.

The Weather Service predicted a sunny Thursday for Orange County, with highs of about 60 degrees and overnight lows in the 40s.

Friday should be partly sunny, with temperatures in the low 40s overnight.

On Saturday, highs should be in the low 60s, and by nighttime, there will be a slight chance of showers, continuing Sunday.
