Monsoonal moisture brings a chance of thunderstorms to the Southland on Sunday and Monday.
Precipitation in the form of scattered showers, isolated heavier showers and thunderstorms is predicted to arrive as soon as early Sunday morning and last through Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters say rainfall amounts will likely be light, although showers could get heavier during thunderstorms.
In north Orange County, there is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms on Sunday. Further south, there is a 20 percent chance of storms both Sunday and Monday.
Otherwise, the weather will remain warm and mostly sunny, with temperatures in the mid to high 80s inland and about 10 degrees cooler closer to the coast, according to the weather service.
