The Inter-Canyon League presents the 43rd ANNUAL SILVERADO COUNTRY FAIR & Art Festival on October 11th-13th, 2013. The event kicks off Friday night with the first ever canyon “Steampunk” music fest! It’s gonna’ be like ‘cowboys n’ aliens’, with hillbilly country music of Road Kill Kings and renown electronic DJ, Rachael Starr Maloof, mixing music from 5-10 pm. The Silverado Country Fair “Unparade” starts at 9:00 am Saturday morning when the notorious wagon driven-store robbin’ outlaws, horseback riders, Acjachemen tribe, scouts, dancers and classic cars will be paradin’ past homes and businesses along Silverado Canyon Road to the fairgrounds. Don’t miss the live action ROBBERY at the Silverado Café and the Canyon Market! The Country Fair event opens at 10:00 am with live music, dancing, and gun ‘slingin’ fun! Local art & craft merchants will be showin’ their wares and families can experience making old ‘timey crafts of the 1800’s with Naturalist For You volunteers dressed in period garb. Hungry visitors will love the “by golly tastiest and wholesomest’ country cookin’ ya ever ate” served Friday night through Sunday. Blessing the Country Fair will be the Acjachemen Tribal singers followed by Western Icon Productions, the 1800’s re-enactment group who will be getting everyone in the spirit of the Old West along with Rusty Richards, last singin’ cowboy of the Sons of the Pioneers! Country, Bluegrass, Classic Rock & Blues bands will entertain throughout the day including OC folks bands Canyon Creek Ramblers, Autumn Eyes and Sawtooth. The Saturday Night Music Fest will rock the canyons from 5-10 pm with special guest performances by The Budrows and the Fabulous Ricks Trio. Sunday’s line-up includes Shadybrook Bluegrass, Throwing Stones and closes with a GrooveSession dance party you don’t want to miss. OC hillbilly hippies will enjoy hula hoop dancing with Canyon Dance instructor Sheryl Fuller!

The Silverado Country Fair is held at the hillbilly Silverado
Fairgrounds (Community Center), located just one mile into Silverado Canyon,
