This is a great event! The tall ships are amazing! The cannon battle at sunset is not to be missed! Must buy tickets in advance on the website to ride on one of the ships for the cannon battle. Also the sea chantys in the park are fun. Lots of food and some sword fighting demonstrations. Also pirates try to 'jack' the tall ships & I believe you can ride on a pirate dinghy & be in the cannon battle also. There will be talking parrot's and pirate school. Ocean Institute will have sea creature displays. There will be local art on display for sale. The festival is free, but to ride the ships costs $65 per person in advance.
