Blotter: Caller Bossed Around by Drunken Man

The following is a selection of calls from Lake Forest to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Feb. 15 to Feb. 17.

A caller told police a drunken man near a liquor store kept on bothering him and telling him what to do.

The call was made around 10:25 a.m., Wednesday at the intersection of Jeronimo Road and El Toro Road.

Burglary alarm-audible. 6:20 p.m. Thursday. 26400 block of Waterford Circle.

Traffic accident-unknown injuries. 8:27 p.m. Wednesday. 18900 block of Saddleback Ranch Road.  Sheriff deputies responding to an accident arrested a 36-year-old man who works as a cook. He was cited and released from the Intake Release Center.

Petty theft report. 7:53 p.m. Wednesday. 22700 block of Centre Drive.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:16 a.m. Wednesday. 23500 block of Cavanaugh Road. A resident said her next-door neighbors keep telling her that they can hear her breathing at night.

Traffic stop. 1:44 a.m. Wednesday. Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road. A 31-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was cited and released from the Intake Release Center.

Shots heard—no suspect information. 11:32 p.m. Tuesday. 25700 block of Le Parc. A resident said they heard a gunshot near the location.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:42 p.m. Tuesday. 28300 block of Pueblo Drive. A resident said that people were inside a neighbor’s home with a flashlight and left in a silver Nissan truck.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:17 p.m. Tuesday. Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road. A driver reported a man, wearing a sweatshirt, jeans and carrying a large black bag, walking in the middle of traffic lanes, making drivers swerve to avoid hitting him.

Assist outside agency. 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. 24900 block of Muirlands Boulevard. A 25-year-old man was arrested during a joint agency effort and is in custody at the Theo Lacy Facility on $115,000 bail.
