Three Allegedly Sneak onto Private Dock to Fish

A selection of recent reports from the Orange County Sheriff's police blotter in Lake Forest.

At 2:15 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 22700 block of Lake Forest Drive. According to the report, a loud and out of control party was occurring on the north side of an apartment complex pool.

At 10:20 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to assist a citizen in the 24900 block of Muirlands Boulevard. Deputies assisted a woman whose ex-girlfriend was allegedly threatening to take her child. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 7:11 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 21000 block of Skylark Drive. According to the report, three minors were seen allegedly smoking illegal drugs in a community park behind the informant’s house. The minors were reportedly driving a white Honda.

At 6:23 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Bake Parkway and Toledo Way intersection. The informant reported an ongoing issue with at least six minors allegedly smoking marijuana in bunkers built near a creek every night. 

At 11:01 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 25800 block of Southbrook Lane. According to the report, a group of subjects were allegedly throwing fireworks into a creek from a bike trail.

At 10:34 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 25600 block of View Point Drive. The informant reported he was being physically and verbally attacked by his girlfriend.

At 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspected drunken driver near the Bake Parkway and Trabuco Road intersection. According to the informant, a silver Toyota Tacoma was seen swerving.

At 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a drunken driver in the 22600 block of Lake Forest Drive. The informant suspected two men were intoxicated as they were attempting to start a silver Infinity with a woman allegedly passed out in the back seat near a deli. 

At 12:16 p.m. Wednesday, a deputies arrested a 50-year-old man in the first block of Icon. According to the report, the man was taken into custody in connection with a sex crimes investigation. Deputies were advised to pick up a hard drive as evidence. The man has since been released from custody on a bond.

At 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported alleged trespassers in the 22800 block of Islamare Lane. The informant had police detain three subjects for allegedly fishing from his neighbor’s private dock.
