Caller Discovers .45-Caliber Handgun, and Other Cop Calls

At 11:05 p.m. Thursday, police were called to assist firefighters on the 20700 block of El Toro Road. According to the report, firefighters were needed to help a 21-year-old woman who took a large dose of sleeping pills.

At 10:17 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 23200 block of Orange Avenue. The informant reported seeing a group of drunk minors arguing and getting ready to fight in a common area near Muirlands. 

At 8:59 p.m. Thursday, police were called to conduct a patrol check near the Emyvale Court and Kirkwall Lane intersection. The informant requested the assistance of police to stop drug deals that have been taking place in the area recently.

At 5:37 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the El Toro Road and Trabuco Raod intersection. According to the report, the driver of a Ford F-150 was seen swerving and nearly colliding with other vehicles.

At 10:31 a.m Thursday, police were called to assist an outside agency on the 22200 block of Treeridge Lane. The caller had reportedly discovered a Ruger .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol.

At 7:11 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported suspicious activity near the Los Alisos Boulevard and Muirlands Boulevard intersection. According to the report, two men were sitting under a trail bridge, watching passersby. The informant suspected they might be planning a robbery. According to the report, police detained the two subjects.

At 6:26 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the Muirlands Boulevard and Lake Forest Drive intersection. According to the report, four minors in a tan Nissan Altima were seen speeding and nearly striking several pedestrians.

At 4:52 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to assist a citizen on the 22900 block of Willard Avenue. According to the report, the mother of a 23-year-old man called police after he told her that his girlfriend hit him the previous night

At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported an I.D theft on the 20700 block of El Toro Road. The informant was reportedly concerned because someone purchased a firearm under his name. According to the report, the caller said he is not allowed to own guns because he was recently arrested on assault charges.

At 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a drunk driver on the 23200 block of Orange Avenue. According to the report, the information saw a man with bloodshot eyes who smelled of alcohol driving away in a dark blue sedan toward Whisler Drive.
