A teen who was mountain biking in Whiting Ranch on Thursday evening suffered head injuries and was rescued by helicopter, authorities said.
The 14-year-old boy was hoisted out of the park around 7 p.m., said OCFA Capt. Marc Stone.
A helicopter airlifted the hurt teen to a local hospital.
It's unclear how exactly the boy was injured. Stone did not know whether he had been with his parents or had been wearing a helmet.
The helicopter took the teen to Mission Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
