A winter holiday push by law enforcement to keep drunken and unlicensed drivers off of Orange County roads is underway.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department has scheduled the following enforcement operations for the winter holiday enforcement campaign. At checkpoints sheriff's deputies will ensure drivers are not intoxicated and are properly licensed.
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 18: extra patrols in Los Alamitos
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 18: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Garden Grove
- Week of Dec. 19: warrant/probation sweeps throughout Orange County
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Laguna Beach
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Tustin
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Anaheim
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Irvine
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Irvine
