Sheriff's Holiday DUI Enforcement Push Underway
The Orange County Sheriff's Department is making a push to keep drunken drivers off the road this holiday season.
A winter holiday push by law enforcement to keep drunken and unlicensed drivers off of Orange County roads is underway.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department has scheduled the following enforcement operations for the winter holiday enforcement campaign. At checkpoints sheriff's deputies will ensure drivers are not intoxicated and are properly licensed.
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 18: extra patrols in Los Alamitos
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 18: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Garden Grove
- Week of Dec. 19: warrant/probation sweeps throughout Orange County
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Laguna Beach
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Tustin
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Anaheim
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: extra patrols in Irvine
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Irvine
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 23: multi-agency DUI taskforce in Buena Park
- 6 p.m. - 2 a.m. Dec. 30: extra patrols in Laguna Niguel
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 30:extra patrols in Laguna Beach
- 8 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 30: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Huntington Beach
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 30: extra patrols in La Habra
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 30: DUI/CDL checkpoint in Westminster
- 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Dec. 30: DUI/CDL checkpoint at 1200 E. Ball Rd. in Anaheim
