Police Raid Marijuana Dispensary in Lake Forest, Seize Pot, Cash and Weapons in Related Busts

Authorities executed search warrants in Lake Forest, Long Beach, Irvine and Riverside County.

Authorities seized 16 pounds of marijuana, six guns and more than $200,000 while serving search warrants Friday related to medical pot dispensaries in Lake Forest and Long Beach.

1 AM Lake Forest Discount Caregivers at 24602 Raymond Way #207 in Lake Forest was raided by agents of South Narcotics and the Special Investigation Bureau, as was dispensary Positive Vibrations at 2137 Pacific Avenue in Long Beach, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Residences associated with the shops were also raided, including homes on the 2500 block of La Serra in Laguna Hills, the 10 block of Primrose in Irvine and at 11000 Larkspur Court in unincorporated Riverside County, near Corona.

Authorities seized two handguns and a shotgun from the Long Beach dispensary, and three additional handguns—including a handgun with the serial numbers changed—from the Riverside County home, police said.

About $200,000 in cash was found in the Riverside County home. Additional money was taken from the other homes and businesses included in the operation.
