Scores of Alleged Victims Point Finger at Ex-Servite Teacher, Coach

Authorities seek more victims in the growing case against a former San Juan Capistrano teacher who most recently coached baseball in Irvine and taught at Servite High.

Scores of boys from Orange County, including Lake Forest, have come forward as alleged victims of a former Capistrano Valley Christian high school history teacher and baseball coach.

Zachary Joshua Reeder, 30, allegedly posed as a teenage girl on Facebook to lure boys into sending him sexually explicit photos. In the wake of the allegations, Reeder was fired from all-boys Servite High in Anaheim, where he was a social science teacher since Fall 2008.

He was also a walk-on baseball coach at Beckman High in Irvine through last year. Beckman competes in the Pacific Coast League, which includes Corona del Mar in south Orange County. Servite is part of the Trinity League, which includes Santa Margarita Catholic and JSerra.
