Sheriff's Blotter: Cop Calls

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:29 a.m. Tuesday. 23300 block of El Toro Road.

Disturbance. 12:23 a.m. Tuesday. 24400 block of Corta Cresta Drive.

Unknown trouble. 10:33 p.m. Monday. Sky Drive and Second Street. A 63-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at the Central Men’s Jail on $20,000 bail.

Vandalism. 9:14 p.m. Monday. 19400 block of Saddleback Ranch Road. A caller reported seeing a group of kids near Portola Elementary School possibly vandalizing the property. Deputies who responded to the call, however, were unable to locate the group and found no signs of vandalism or any damage to the school.

Drunk in public. 2:39 p.m. Monday. 23200 block of Orange Avenue. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and taken into custody at the Central Men’s Jail, with no bail set.

Traffic accident—unknown injuries. 2:54 a.m. Monday. Jeronimo Road and Ridge Route Drive. Deputies responding to a traffic accident report arrested a 20-year-old man and took him into custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Traffic stop. 10:26 p.m. Sunday. Ridge Route Drive and Trabuco Road. A 50-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Traffic accident—unknown injuries. 8:21 p.m. Sunday. Serrano Road and Lake Forest Drive. Deputies responding to a traffic accident report arrested a 37-year-old woman and took her into custody at the Orange County Jail, where she was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:24 p.m. Sunday. 0 block of Pastora.

Traffic stop. 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Lake Forest Drive and Trabuco Road. A 22-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at the Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Disturbance. 10:33 p.m. Saturday. 25000 block of Farthing Street.

Shots heard—no suspect information. 11:08 a.m. Saturday. Muirlands Boulevard and Tulip Street.

Drunken driving. 12:20 a.m. Saturday. 23700 block of Rockfield Boulevard. A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and taken into custody at the Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Burglary report. 11:07 p.m. Friday. 0 block of Flores.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 8:14 p.m. Friday. Osterman Road and Normandale Drive. Deputies responding to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle arrested a 25-year-old woman and took her into custody at the Musick facility on $15,000 bail.

Disturbance. 3:53 p.m. Friday. 23400 block of Duryea Drive.
