Order of publication is determined by the order in which candidate names will appear on the ballot. This is the statement voters will see on the ballot in November.

Lake Forest City Council Candidate: Ken Carrell

I have owned my own architectural firm since 1998 and have been in the field for over thirty years.  My firm has won awards not only for our projects, but also for providing the best architectural service to our clients.

I was a Planning Commissioner for the city for four years.  As an architect, I feel that I brought a unique viewpoint to the Commission.  I understood what the developers were trying to accomplish while making sure the city got what it needed to produce a win-win situation for all concerned.

I’m a husband and father and a homeowner here in Lake Forest as well as a business owner.  When I first moved to Lake Forest, I moved my business here because Lake Forest is so business-friendly.  My business has been here for ten years now and I firmly believe in supporting local businesses as well.

I’m a member of the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Irvine.  As a member of the Rotary Club and as an Eagle Scout, I was asked to be the liaison for the Boy Scout troop our club sponsors.  Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self” and I’ll do just that.
