Get Free Job Advice at Upcoming Workshop

The city of Lake Forest and Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce team up to offer a three-hour job seminar.

Job seekers are invited to attend a free three-hour career workshop on June 15, co-sponsored by the city of Lake Forest and the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce.

From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., the director of an organization focused on employing America's veterans will share advice on how to identify a career path, create an effective resume and more.

Fred Omid, director of the National Employment Council, will lead the workshop at Lake Forest City Hall, 25550 Commercentre Drive.

Omid is also the author of the Hidden Step series, a step-by-step employment guide downloaded by thousands every month.  

Some attendees may qualify to be matched by an NEC Career Coach with employers hiring for their skills, according to organizers.
