Short Agenda for Tuesday's Council Meeting

Lake Forest City Council meets at City Hall for its first regularly scheduled meeting of September.

An agenda without discussion items foretells a shorter-than-usual council meeting Tuesday evening.

The City Council will convene at  for its first meeting of the month.

Up for a vote are three non-routine items, all listed on the consent calendar. Typically, the council votes on those items in one fell swoop, with little or no discussion.

The consent calendar includes an item revising the city's grading and excavation code; another amending and extending a traffic engineering contract; and a third awarding a $27,375 contract for park restroom janitorial services.

As it does regularly, the council is also scheduled to review the city's latest expenses. Approximately $3 million in recent expenditures are on the agenda for approval.
