Another Presidential Stretch of the Truth

On September 18, 2013, President Obama said "raising the debt ceiling....does not increase our debt."

We all know that if we've maxed out our Visa credit card, and get another $5K added to its limit, that will soon be maxed out as well.

So goes our national debt.  The ink was not even dry from Obama signing the new debt ceiling limit until another $350B (as in billion) was added to our debt.

The question is, why do people who would never run their personal finances like this, continue to support such insanity?  Do they the debt will be paid by other people?

There isn't any sugar daddy that is going to come along and pay our bills for us.  This is our debt, and our children's and our grandchildren's.

We have no idea how much the Affordable Care Act will costs, but the figures range all over the globe, well above the $2500 annual savings the President and Democratic members of Congress promised us.

This may seem to not appear to be 'local,' but it is.  We all pay taxes, at varying rates.  And, this continual increase of our debt affects our savings and our cost of buying.
